With the regular National Football League (NFL) season in the books, Ozy Media and SurveyMonkey conducted a poll of those who skipped watching any games in 2017, trying to ascertain the reasons for their decision.
Independent Journal Review (IJR) reports that those polled were asked, “Did you purposely stop watching or attending NFL games this season for any reason?”
Quoting the poll’s results, IJR writes:
“They answered as follows: 32% said they stopped watching or attending NFL games ‘in support of Donald Trump’; 22% said ‘in solidarity with players kneeling’; 13% said ‘no interest in the teams playing’; 12% said ‘in support of Colin Kaepernick’; and 11% said ‘news about traumatic brain injuries among players.’ Another 8% said ‘games are boring.’ 46% chose ‘some other reason.’”
Of course, the main take away is the finding that nearly a third of those asked sided with the President, but there is the arguable claim that among the 46 percent of those going with ‘some other reason’ there are many among them fearing to mention their support of the President’s stand against a Black supremacist-coddling NFL.
The survey confirms the support the President has garnered since his September 2017 comments about NFL players disrespecting the flag by kneeling during the national anthem.
During a rally in Alabama, President Trump told the crowd:
“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. Out! He’s fired. He’s fired!’
“You know, some owner is going to do that. He’s going to say, ‘That guy that disrespects our flag, he’s fired.’ And that owner, they don’t know it [but] they’ll be the most popular person in this country.”
Love this: @realDonaldTrump on NFL players disrespecting our flag/anthem: "get that son of a bitch off the field right now – YOU'RE FIRED!"

That, obviously, did not happen. Instead, the NFL doubled-down on its support for hatred of America and its men and women in uniform, while a large segment of Americans sided with the President.
The NFL has been a liberal slow-implosion ever since.
What do you think? Will the NFL find itself blown-out by Trump?
