Charlie Daniels Asks Chuck Schumer For the One Thing Every American Conservative Hopes For

Country music legend Charlie Daniels is well known for having a way with words, and this week he put his talents on display in a pointed Twitter post directed at Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

“Senator Schumer, one time, just one time I’d love to hear you speak about the men and women who bled and died for you with as much compassion as you speak about illegals in this country,” the singer/songwriter wrote on his Twitter page. “Veterans are committing suicide at the rate of 22 a day and they’re already citizens. Shameful.”

But that wasn’t all for the man who made “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” a chart topper. Daniels even wrote a little song for the New York Senator, and while he hasn’t quite recorded it yet, you and I both know that we would all love to hear it. Have a look at the lyrics for yourself:

Charlie’s got a pretty good point too. With veteran’s issues what they are, why aren’t Democrats up in arms about their health and wellbeing? Why are they spending so much time trying to help those who have done nothing for this country, when people who quite literally put their lives on the line for our freedoms are being forgotten about, and many left homeless on the streets?

Perhaps, as some have speculated, it is because the Democrats know that they have no hope of winning the votes of good, honest Americans, and instead are seeking to import new voters in the form of illegal immigrants. The left knows that they have insulted the military too much to get their vote, so instead, they will throw their support elsewhere, even if it means allowing Americans to suffer and die under their watch.

And that kind of thinking really does sum up the Democrat mentality, after all. All that these people on the left really care about is power, and they will do whatever it takes to hold onto their cushy positions in Washington. It doesn’t matter if our nation’s heroes go hungry, or if the very fabric of America is torn apart, as long as they are able to keep their grip on power, however weak that grip may be, they will be happy. Disgusting.
