President Trump has said since the beginning that he believed the Obama administration was illegally spying on him and his campaign during the election, and now newly uncovered correspondence might prove he was right all along.
The memo was discovered by Republican members of the House Intelligence Committee and immediately had some on Capitol Hill feeling sick over what they read. “Part of me wishes that I didn’t read it because I don’t want to believe that those kinds of things could be happening in this country that I call home and love so much,” North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows told the press, while another Congressman described the contents of the memo as more in line with the actions of the KGB than of the FBI.
“The facts contained in this memo are jaw-dropping and demand full transparency,” Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz told Fox News. “There is no higher priority than the release of this information to preserve our democracy.”
I have read the memo. The sickening reality has set in. I no longer hold out hope there is an innocent explanation for the information the public has seen. I have long said it is worse than Watergate. It was #neverTrump & #alwaysHillary. #releasethememo

Because of the fact that the memo has been labeled top secret, the politicians on Capitol Hill are unable to release it to the public. Many, however, are demanding that the Representatives voted on removing the classification to allow the general public to better understand the despicable state of affairs America was in during the Obama administration, a state that probably only would have gotten worse had Hillary Clinton been elected.
“I believe the select committee should, pursuant to House rules, vote to make the report publicly available as soon as possible. This is a matter of national significance and the American people deserve the truth,” Rep Ron DeSantis told his constituents.
Should the memo be released, it is thought that it could have grave consequences for many in the Democratic party. “I think that this will not end just with firings, Sean Hannity said. “I believe there are people who will go to jail.” We can only hope so, Sean. It’s about time for the swamp to get drained, and this might be the fastest way to do it.
